KL JAm

It was Friday at 6.20pm and after waving goodbye to my colleagues and taunting them with chants of "No life la you all, no plans on a Friday evening so dont have to leave early like me..hiakhiakhiak", I left the office with the hugest and most irritating smirk on my face, as unlike them, I had plans on a Friday night...

I sped down from the 5th floor parking and entered jalan ipoh, all smooth it seemed. Connie's car was in front of me, I could tell she had plans too and was not saving up on petrol by accelerating all she could. I was so excited and glad that my boss the slavedriver had left earlier that evening, paving the way for my own early departure from the office i call prison too.

Nearing Bulatan Segambut, I saw it. The massive massive crawl along Jalan Kuching..I trembled.. my kakis goyang... Apparently, all of KL had plans too...shucks, having a life is so difficult...

I did a last minute calculation and swerved my car towards the Duta courthouse and did a U-turn. So what I'm gonna go back to the office and face the taunts of my colleagues, at the very least I could clear some work, surf the Net or take a nap till the coasts clear an hour or 2 later.

Alas, I was caught in a jam near the courthouse too...By the time I drive up the 5 storeys parking, it was already 6.50.

And the door to the office was ....locked........

OH man! $&^&)*^%$^%*^(*)*&^&&^.

But as u know me, I found the absurdity of the situation rather funny...and I did manage a chuckle or two.. But no more than two, coz I realised that I was officially "homeless" and without a destination. And in need to weewee...

But luckily, my office complex has toilets.....

Then I called CY, who told me to go Klang and find him... -_-

Or go to my sis hse in PJ...:-l Which was what I did eventually..

But then I called Yshin, and he laughed and laughed after I told him my situation. That bloody git...

I was talking loudly to him and whining pathetically that "I have nowhere to go now!!" when this guy just came out of the elevator and overheard me and looked at me amused and sympathetic...

Paisehnya!!

All of KL's traffic's fault!!!

P.S. A check with my colleagues today revealed that Connie was indeed stuck in jams in Jalan Duta and also Jalan Klang Lama for 1 hour and 20 minutes. And the best part was...she cried in d car!!! Coz she was supposed to get home early to have Japanese buffet with her bf, which she missed. Wahahahaahaha....

PPS. Lesson to be learnt from all these.... laugh at others all you can when you can, coz you wont know when life will play the butt of jokes on you and make others laugh at you..:-P
