This post is for the girls...introducing... THREADING!
I went for my first threading session a few weeks back with Penny.
I only did the eyebrow threading which is RM8 and Penny did whole face threading for RM30.
It was pretty fast, my eyebrow was quite clean n in shape for a whole week after tat. Din take a pic of tat though.
It stung a little, and a bit more if you do the whole face. But worth it if you're the lazy type or have no clue on how to shape your brows. The thread-wielder said benefit of face-threading is to make the face looks fairer and clearer (bluntly speaking and in sounding like a racist, i think is a benefit more apt for the Indian girls). But Penny said tat she read somewhere that getting rid of all the little bulus on ur face will make the skin more effective in absorbing the moisturiser and/or other facial products that you use.
Here's what I found in wikipedia also..
"Like other methods of hair removal such as plucking or waxing, threading can result in skin irritation and ingrown hairs, however, hair re-growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments. As the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized, threading is also recommended and an excellent option for those who have sensitive skin and who use Retin-A, Accutane, and similar products."
So,
Denise's review: Can give it a try if you've never tried it to decide whether you like it or not.
In other words,
Denise didn't offer any constructive advise.
